It can cover and protect most part of your arm.
The bite sleeve better used for young dogs entry level training.
Durable cotton and nylon blending fabric outside and tough cotton on the inside layer make the sleeve durable but not very hard.
The inside handle is steel which is strong enough for holding the whole sleeve, with the outer plastic handle holed in the other hand for heavy pulling.
The inner sleeve should be used together with outer biting part during training, also the outer biting part can be used separately like a biting pillow.
